While at the library recently (a favorite place to visit in our neighborhood), I asked Lucas if he could go anywhere in the world, where would he like to go. He promptly spun the globe and then stopped it and pointed to Australia.
Wouldn’t you know it; that’s a place he’s actually already been? You can read about our trip here. We had a magnificent trip and I, too would return in an heartbeat.

Ahh, I wish I had traveled more when I could. I don't think I even realized at the time that I could have traveled. Lucas is a lucky boy! 🙂
…and I actually just decided to get Boo a globe for Christmas this year. He keeps asking me questions about earth rotation & my geography sucks…I need a cheat, um, globe. LoL

G'Day Mate!!! He knows how to pick a fun place.
I was in Oz back in 1999. Melbourne was my fave.

I think Leapfrog makes a cool globe for kids that they can touch and it tells them the name of the place and something about it. My nephew had one and loved it!

Great choice, Lucas! I love to look at the globe and imagine cool places to go. Good that you're starting him early!
