“I find sometimes it’s easy to be myself sometimes I find it’s better to be somebody else.” – So Much To Say, Dave Matthews
This is my 100th post! I never thought I’d get here…100 posts!? Wow! I guess I had more to say than I thought.
I love blogging and I am so thankful for the outlet and I appreciate whoever is reading this, especially my sister! I love that she has commented on just about every single post I have made. Thanks, Leah!
If you do read this and haven’t become a “follower” yet, please do and as always, I love feedback, so comment and comment often on anything that strikes a cord with you, makes you laugh, or rubs you the wrong way. I’m also open to advice. I know that there are a lot of first time and seasoned mommies out that I could learn from.
My husband likes to point out that my blog has/is undergoing an evolution and that not all of my posts are “Letters For Lucas” and some are just rants or fun stuff (ie. quotes, book, movie, product reviews, etc.). I acknowledge the shift and he acknowledges that this is my space. 🙂
The best is yet to be and I still have so much to say.

100 posts?! Woo Hoo! Congrats Tonya! This is an accomplishment! I am so proud of you for keeping up with this! I know that you really enjoy doing it and somewhere in there, its also therapy too.
Like your new and old friends on here that read your blog, I feel like its a way to stay connected to your life since we can't be together all the time. I get to know new things about Lucas, what's ticking you off currently, what you are in love with at the time and many other wonderful nuances into your mind. : ) I hope thats one goal of the blog.
Personally, my day just doesn't get off to a good start if I don't click onto your blog and of course comment lots!
I agree with Todd too, your blog is not just about writing letters to your son, its kind of like an open journal to him. In a journal, you don't have to neccessarily write about one topic, its just for whatever you are thinking about. Thats exactly what this blog is like. But Lucas can read this journal (one day) so thats great!
Well, keep up the good work! I look forward to your future posts! And I look forward to discussing them with Lucas eventually!

congratulations! I love keeping up with you and todd and lucas through your blog. And I will point out to you that one of these days you may also outgrow the name of your blog if you have more children. I created my blog name when Paul and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary never thinking that I'd still be blogging four years later. Now I need a new blog name! I hope to see you all while you're in the bay area.
xoxo, maia
